We use your first name and your email to send you the monthly update. That is all. We do not sell or share your data, and we run no advertising trackers. Unsubscribe from any email in one click, or ask us to delete your data at any time at support@skinid.ch.

We are Quentin Nallet and Simon Rastikian, cofounders of SkinID. Write to us at support@skinid.ch about anything on this page.

We collect your first name and your email address, and nothing else. We use them to send you the monthly update. We do this only because you ticked the box, and you can untick it at any time by unsubscribing from any email or writing to us. Your details sit on our own server in Germany, and with the provider that delivers our email, in Europe. That provider counts how many people open each update, anonymously, without linking it to you.

Offer terms

The first 500 people to join receive lifetime access to the SkinID subscription, free of charge, from the day the product launches. One account per person, not transferable. The offer covers the software subscription only, not the implant or its placement, which are purchased separately. If we never launch, nothing is owed and nothing has been paid.

What can I do with SkinID at launch?

Log in to your accounts without a password, and open doors that use compatible NFC readers. More integrations are coming.

Do I need an implant to join?

No. Joining the list costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You can decide about an implant later, or never.

Can I be tracked with it?

No. The chip has no battery, no GPS and no signal of its own. It only responds when a reader is a few centimetres away, and it does nothing the rest of the time.

Can it be removed?

Yes. The implant sits just under the skin and can be taken out by a professional.

What data do you store?

Your first name and your email, nothing else. No location, no biometrics, no browsing history. We do not sell or share data, and we run no advertising trackers.

Is the implant safe?

SkinID is software. We do not manufacture, sell or place implants. NFC implants have been used for over a decade and are placed by trained professionals. For anything health related, speak to a doctor or the practitioner who would place it.

From the founders

We are two founders, a cryptographer and a business builder. We are taking passwords, keys and badges out of everyday life, and we are doing it in the open, with the people who use it.

We would rather build this with five hundred people than for a million strangers.
