Before you order.

Is the procedure painful?
The installation is a quick subdermal injection, similar to a piercing. The certified professional uses a sterile single-use applicator. Most clients describe it as a brief sting, completed in under a minute. Local anesthetic is available on request.
What if I lose my implant or the chip fails?
All packages include account recovery. Standard and Pro include a backup credential (DESFire fob or second implant) for cryptographic recovery. If your primary implant fails within 12 months, replacement is free under the Standard and Pro packages.
Is it safe with airport security or MRI?
The implant is MRI conditional up to 3 Tesla. Always inform your radiologist before any imaging. The chip is passive (no battery), made of biocompatible Schott 8625 glass, and has no magnetic components. Airport metal detectors and X-rays do not detect or affect it.
Can I remove it later?
Yes, removal is a quick procedure performed by the same certified professionals. The implant can be revoked at any time from your management panel without removal. The chip simply stops being recognized by the SkinID network.
Where can I get it installed?
SkinID partners with certified clinics in major Swiss cities (Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich, Basel, Bern). After your order, you receive the list of available appointments within 48 hours. Cross-border options for EU clients are coming soon.
